Golden Gate - Jerusalem, Palestine. Numbered "360" in the negative and by Bonfils. I have seen a slightly later one credited on the mount. Mounted albumen with title in ink below image "Golden gate - Jerusalem". Ca 1873. Sizes ca 9 2/8 x 11 6/8 inches. Condition is good with three tiny spots and a light stain at sky part; some wear at right edge (a part of 1/8 wide and 5/8 high retouched with pencil) and a tear at bottom (ca 0,5 inch). Original is sharp; darker toned and ca 1 inch wider (left) for it was too large to scan completely). Price € 200 |
