Bethlehem in Palestine. Signed and numbered "Bonfils 155" in the negative. Mounted albumen with title in ink below image "Bethlehem". Ca 1873. Sizes ca 11 4/8 x 9 inches. (original is ca 3/4 inch higher at the top). Condition is very good/near excellent with a tiny closed tear (1/8 inch) at top edge; right upper edge and ca 4 inches to the left a small area with emulsion fault - showing matt and from time of development. Original is sharp and a bit darker brown toned. Price € 275 |
