Saw action in Burma, The Crimea, Lucknow India, China, Canada, South Africa and Egypt where he came to late to relief General Gordon. Photograph by Alexander Bassano, London. Sizes ca 4 1/4 x 6 1/8 inches / 109 x 155 mm. Condition is - apart from the medium spots - very good. Mount trimmed at bottom. Original is sharp, and a bit darker toned. Price € 75 |
