Edna May Pettie - 19th century - early 20th century actress

Edna May Pettie (1878 - 1948)
Born in the USA and died in Switzerland.
Married first Fred Titus and second Oscar Lewisohn.
She appeared for the first time on stage at the age of five.
In the above Cabinet card you'll see her in the role of Violet Grey in the
musical "The belle of New York".

Manuscript dedication and signature "Yours truly, Edna May".

Sizes ca 4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches / 109 x 165 mm.

Condition is near excellent with a very minor tear at left edge due to small tear in
mount (see also scan). Some light wear at corners of mount.
Original is sharp, and a bit darker toned.
