British actor who was stabbed to death by Richard Arthur Prince a jealous
actor.
Before starting his acting career he had some other professions a.o.
sheep farming in the Falkland isles and tea planting in Bengal, india.
He married Isabel Lewis and they got a daughter Ellaline Terriss who
also started acting and later got married to Seymour Hicks.
Cdv by the London Stereoscopic Company, London. Ca 1880's.
Size ca 2 3/8 x 3 9/16 (photo) and 2,5 x 4 1/8 inches (mount).
Condition is good with some spots and minor surface wear.
Original is a bit lighter brown toned (scan shows a bit too sepia).
