First important philanthropist, international financier, American
patriot and diplomat. He was together with a.o. Charles Dickens one of the
reformers of social life and responsible for the building of houses for the poor
(London) and establishing a school system in the Southern States of America
right after the Civil war.

Condition is good with at left and at the bottom tiny white spots in emulsion.
