Noyon - Cathedral Cloisters - 17- (Noyon - Cathedrale) The Cathedral of Noyon was build in the second half of the 12th century after the first had been destroyed by a fire. Mounted albumen photograph by Cundall Downes & Co., London (embossed stamp at left upper corner of mount) and dated in pencil 1864. Sizes ca 293 x 236 mm / 11,5 x 9 1/4 inches. Mount ca 485 x 380 mm / 19 x 15 inches. For photo was a bit too large for scanner the original is about 15 mm / 0,5 inch larger at upper part. Condition is good/very good with a few tiny imperfections of emulsion, very mild discolouring at edges and a mild spot. Light embossed collector (?) initials at left lower corner of photo. Original is sharp, slightly lighter and brown toned. Price € 150 |
