Samuel Bourne - Panorama of Bombay.
Ships in the foreground and trees between the beach and the city of
Bombay.

Two unmounted albumen from the 1870's.
The photos are numbered at the reverse "2499" and "2500".
Titled in pencil at the reverse "Apollo Bunder".
For the way of numbering is the same as others by Bourne and fits in the
range of his Bombay photos I describe these to him.
Sizes ca 24 6/8 x 7 1/8 inches.

Condition is good with wrinkling in center where photos are backed
with linnen; fold from top to bottom at right and left part of panorama;
some other smaller and milder folds; some creasing; a few mild spots
and edges with some discolouring. Bottom has been trimmed.
Original is sharp and a bit darker brown toned.

The photos have been scanned in parts and put together in html.
There is a slightly visible jump in lines where they have been sided.
This is not the fact in the original.
