  Photoalbum with 15 albumen photographs of the Serajgunge Jute mills
  near Calcutta by most probably V.Pont, photographer at Calcutta.
  The photographs are depicting groups of local and colonial staff, buildings,
  and people at work. 1880's.

  Sizes of the photographs are ca 11,5 x 8,5 inches or a little larger.
  Photographer of all photographs almost sure V.Pont. His name can be
  found in the negative of one photograph (nr 6).
  For the purchaser bought the ones on Serajgunge, including the one of this
  -to him- unknown group which is signed by V.Pont (commercial, Calcutta) it
  is most probably they are all by him.

  The photographs are in good upto near excellent condition. A couple with
  light/medium staining and/or spotting. Some with mild discoloured edges.
  Originals are sharper, brighter and darker toned.

  Gold ruled leather album with Initials (silver ?) on front (E.H. ?). Sizes
  ca 17 x 13 inches. All edges gilt.
  Shaving and edge wear with edge at bottom and top damaged and hinge
  weak (small part broken).
