Bonfils - Tomb of Absalom, Jerusalem. I have seen the exact photograph but a slightly later and larger one produced by Bonfils and numbered 144. Mounted albumen from about 1873. Titled in ink below the photo. Sizes ca 6 2/8 x 8 2/8 inches. Except for a part at bottom edge which is missing and coloured in with pencil (below the man) in excellent condition. Original is sharp and darker brown toned. Sold |
