photochromes - Palestine and Syria

Two photochromes depicting local people of Palestine and Syria. Ca 1890's.
The first shows two moslim women and the second an Arab tradesman on his
donkey.

Printed captions in gold at bottom of photos.

Back to back mounted on part of album leaf.

Sizes of photographs ca 16,5 x 22,5 cms / 6,5 x 8 3/4 inches.

In near excellent condition with one or two very tiny spots and some very minor
scuffing. Mount with spots.
Originals are sharp, abit darker toned with deeper colours.
