India - Man and woman of Choromandel. Titled "Gens avec une grosse Iambe, sur la cote de Coromandel". Vintage copper engraving by unknown artist. c 1750. With wide margins except for left where margin is slightly larger then plate mark. Sized ca 7 x 5 1/8 inches / 177 x 131 mm (engraving). Condition is very good with spots at right and upper margins, mostly at outer edge but with three spots in the print. Original is sharper and brown/grey toned. Price € 27.50 |
