Elena Vigano, 19th century Italian opera singer.

She writes to Bartolo that she has just arrived in Pisa with a few days delay for she had high fever and is just on her feet. The doctor had to stop the use of quinine because he fears for side affects.
As she calls herself "Nina"she feels pitty for not having peace for 8 months.
She wants to come to the country side as soon as possible to get well and strong again.
She ends with greetings to several people.
